El mismo debe estar en formato Word y cumplir con los requisitos que se describen en esta secci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>\u00bf<\/strong><strong>QU\u00c9 TIPO DE ESCRITOS SER\u00c1N CONSIDERADOS?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Notas<\/strong>: Analizan un caso en particular o alguna pieza legislativa reciente. Su extensi\u00f3n debe ser entre 2,000 y 3,000 palabras. El factor tiempo es muy importante porque el tema es de inter\u00e9s inmediato para la comunidad jur\u00eddica.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Art\u00edculos<\/strong>: Un <u>an\u00e1lisis exhaustivo<\/u> de una cuesti\u00f3n jur\u00eddica. Este es el formato m\u00e1s complejo de los escritos aceptados por <em>In Rev<\/em> ya que requieren una gran cantidad de investigaci\u00f3n y una discusi\u00f3n detallada. Preferimos art\u00edculos que no superen las 5,000 palabras.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Comentarios<\/strong>: Discuten y analizan un problema legal de inter\u00e9s. El an\u00e1lisis expuesto en un comentario no es tan detallado como el an\u00e1lisis expuesto en un art\u00edculo. Preferimos que los comentarios que no superen las 3,000 palabras.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Ensayos<\/strong>: Este escrito se caracteriza por ser de menor extensi\u00f3n que un art\u00edculo. Los ensayos pueden abordar temas jur\u00eddicos de manera general e integrar temas no jur\u00eddicos. Preferimos que los ensayos no superen las 3,000 palabras.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Rese\u00f1as<\/strong>: Escrito breve en donde se describe de forma sucinta una noticia, un trabajo literario, acontecimiento de actividades, etc. No deben exceder de 750 palabras.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Poes\u00eda jur\u00eddica<\/strong>: Se dejar\u00e1 un espacio en <em>In Rev<\/em> para que cualquier persona nos env\u00ede poemas jur\u00eddicos. En estos casos, se deber\u00e1 indicar si desea que se publique bajo un nombre en particular o si va a ser an\u00f3nimo.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>REQUISITOS DE LOS ESCRITOS:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Deben estar redactados en espa\u00f1ol o en ingl\u00e9s.<\/li>\n<li>Su extensi\u00f3n no deben exceder el l\u00edmite de palabras indicado arriba para el tipo de escrito que se trate.<\/li>\n<li>Deben contener an\u00e1lisis y base jur\u00eddica, o alguna relaci\u00f3n con el Derecho o la profesi\u00f3n legal.<\/li>\n<li>Se deben incluir las fuentes citadas o consultadas por el autor en formato de notas al calce (<em>footnotes<\/em>).<\/li>\n<li>Deben utilizar el formato de citaci\u00f3n de la Revista Jur\u00eddica de la Universidad de Puerto Rico (i.e. conforme al Manual de Edici\u00f3n de la Revista para escritos en espa\u00f1ol y conforme al\u00a0<em>Bluebook <\/em>para escritos en ingl\u00e9s).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>ONLINE SUBMISSIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Anyone interested in publishing on <em>In Rev<\/em> should submit their work to\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:inrev.upr@gmail.com\">inrev.upr@gmail.com<\/a>. After the submission is received, it will be <u>considered<\/u> for publication and the author will be contacted once a decision is made by the Editorial Board of the University of Puerto Rico (UPR) Law Review. All work submitted must be in an editable word processing document (.doc, .docx, etc.) and meet the requirements described below.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>TYPES OF WORK PUBLISHED ON <em>IN REV<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Notes<\/strong>: Analyze a case or a recent piece of legislation. Its length should be between 2,000 and 3,000 words. Timeliness is very important because the issue is of immediate interest to the legal community.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Articles<\/strong>: A comprehensive analysis of a legal issue. This is the most complex format of the works accepted by <em>In Rev<\/em> as they require a great deal of research and detailed discussion. We prefer Articles that do not exceed 5,000 words.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Comments<\/strong>: Discuss and analyze a legal problem of interest. The analysis outlined in a Comment is not as detailed as the analysis outlined in an Article. We prefer comments that do not exceed 3,000 words.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Essays<\/strong>: With less extension than an article, the essays can address general legal topics and integrate non-legal topics.\u00a0We prefer essays that do not exceed 3,000 words.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Reviews<\/strong>: Succinct assessment of: events, news stories, literary works, etc. They should not exceed 750 words.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Legal poetry<\/strong>: <em>In Rev<\/em> accepts legal poems for publication. The authors must indicate if they want the poem to be published under a pseudonym, anonymously, or with their name.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>SUBMISSION CRITERIA<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work must be in Spanish or English.<\/li>\n<li>The length should not exceed the word limits indicated above.<\/li>\n<li>It must contain analysis and legal basis, or some relation with the legal profession.<\/li>\n<li>Sources consulted by the author should be cited using footnotes.<\/li>\n<li>The citation format used should follow the rules established by the UPR Law Review\u2019s Editing Manual (for submissions in Spanish) or the Bluebook ( for submissions in English).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>SOMETER ESCRITO ELECTR\u00d3NICAMENTE\u00a0 Toda persona interesada en publicar en In Rev deber\u00e1 enviar su escrito a inrev.upr@gmail.com para que este sea considerado para publicaci\u00f3n.
