Particularmente, la responsabilidad de estas de admitir estudiantes provenientes de diversos trasfondos socioecon\u00f3micos para que se logre alcanzar un cuerpo estudiantil heterog\u00e9neo que enriquezca la experiencia y formaci\u00f3n en las instituciones acad\u00e9micas. De la misma forma, examinan la necesidad de que se implementen acciones afirmativas que establezcan una evaluaci\u00f3n hol\u00edstica del perfil del solicitante y sobre c\u00f3mo este contribuye al objetivo de la diversidad. Para esto, profundizan en los l\u00edmites constitucionales establecidos por la Corte Suprema de los Estados Unidos a trav\u00e9s de su jurisprudencia sobre las acciones afirmativas. Finalmente, los autores proponen una modificaci\u00f3n a la pol\u00edtica de admisi\u00f3n de la Escuela de Derecho de la Universidad de Puerto Rico para que \u00e9sta fortalezca sus esfuerzos para promover la inclusi\u00f3n de estudiantes diversos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The authors analyze the role of law schools as initial filters to the legal profession. Specifically, their responsibility to admit students from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds in order to achieve a heterogeneous alumni that enriches the experience and formation in these academic institutions. Also, they conclude that there is a need for affirmative actions that facilitate a holistic evaluation of the applying students. In order this achieve this goal, the students analyze the constitutional limits to affirmative action established by the United States Supreme Court.
