De Jes\u00fas<\/i>, 195 DPR 433 (2016), sobre la figura de la premeditaci\u00f3n y el a prop\u00f3sito, y c\u00f3mo esto afecta la <i>Ley de Menores<\/i>; <i>Pueblo v. Cordero Mel\u00e9ndez<\/i>, 193 DPR 701 (2015), sobre la doctrina del concurso aparente y espec\u00edficamente frente al principio de especialidad, y <i>Pueblo v. Torres Cruz<\/i>, 194 DPR 244 (2015), sobre la aplicaci\u00f3n del principio de favorabilidad a la luz de las enmiendas introducidas por la Ley N\u00fam. 246-2014 al C\u00f3digo Penal de 2012.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Professor Rosario Nieves discuses the most recent cases of the Supreme Court of Puerto Rico regarding Criminal Law. These include: <i>Pueblo v. Concepci\u00f3n Guerra<\/i>, 194 DPR 291 (2015), about the figure of premeditation and the imposition of aggravations in the context of <i>Puerto Rico\u2019s Firearms Act<\/i>; <i>Pueblo v. De <\/i><i>Jes\u00fas<\/i>, 195 DPR 433 (2016), about the purposely and premeditation figures, and how they affect Puerto Rico\u2019s Minors Act; <i>Pueblo v. Cordero <\/i><i>Mel\u00e9ndez<\/i>, 193 DPR 701 (2015), about the application of the apparent concurrence doctrine, specifically when faced with the special law principle, and <i>Pueblo v.
