En la primera, <em>Cooperativa de Ahorro y Cr\u00e9dito San Bl\u00e1s de Illescas v. Purcell Soler<\/em>, el Tribunal Supremo de Puerto Rico resolvi\u00f3 que la exenci\u00f3n de aranceles notariales que concede la Ley N\u00fam. 255-2002, conocida como la Ley de Cooperativas, s\u00f3lo beneficia a las cooperativas y a sus subsidiarias, por lo cual, no es transferible a terceros que hacen negocios con aquellas. En la segunda, <em>DLJ Mortgage, Inc. v. Santiago Mart\u00ednez<\/em>, nuestro m\u00e1s Alto Foro determin\u00f3 que las hipotecas que garantizan instrumentos negociables o t\u00edtulos transferibles por endoso o al portador est\u00e1n reguladas por la <em>Ley de Transacciones Comerciales<\/em>. En consecuencia, la figura del retracto de cr\u00e9dito litigioso del C\u00f3digo Civil no aplica a la sesi\u00f3n de un instrumento negociable, traspasado de buena fe y por valor recibido, antes de su vencimiento.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Cita: <\/strong>F\u00e9lix R.
