What is Lex Sportiva? Does Sports Law even exist? In this article by Gilberto J. Oliveras Maldonado, an attorney who dedicates the bulk of his practice to sports law, we discuss the intricacies of the practice of law in sports. We analyze the historic development of the field of sports law, up to the present-day events, in an attempt to enhance comprehension of this often-misunderstood field of law.
